What's it Like to be a Wolverine?

What is it like to be a Wolverine? We are a vibrant, engaged, close-knit community, united in our faith and in our desire for excellence in all that we do! At Northlake, we recognize that a student’s education and development doesn’t begin or end in the classroom. That’s why we’re purposeful about creating a student life experience that is enriching, engaging, and rewarding. Our goal is that every student graduates as a follower of Jesus who is equipped to think critically, lead courageously, and serve faithfully.

Students graduate from NCS prepared not only for college and career, but also for a lifetime of Kingdom influence.

Student Life

Every opportunity outside the classroom is another opportunity for growth. Whether students are competing on the athletic field, performing on stage, participating in clubs, or leading a Bible study, they are learning to steward their God-given gifts for the glory of God and the good of others.

NCS values a relational, student-focused culture that encourages students to explore their God-given interests and talents with support from our dedicated faculty, staff, and coaches.

Elementary enrichment classes, arts, and athletics open windows of opportunity, and the options continue expanding throughout secondary school. Robust fine arts programming, competitive athletics teams, hobby- & interest–based clubs, academic organizations, service clubs, intramural competitions, and student-led bible studies provide countless ways for students to grow in confidence, character, leadership, and faith.

Parents & Community

Parents are essential partners in our mission of forming followers of Jesus. When families volunteer, encourage students, and actively participate in school life, they help create a Christ-centered community where students learn to think critically, lead courageously, and serve faithfully.

There’s always something going on at Northlake Christian School, and we encourage parents to get engaged and involved in our community! From volunteering in elementary classrooms and working in the concession stand at games to speaking at career day or cheering on our Wolverines in the stands - parent involvement strengthens the NCS community every day!
