Monty Fontenot came to NCS after ten successful years of teaching math and coaching basketball at St. Paul's High School in Covington.  Mr. Fontenot holds his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Belhaven College and his Masters in Education Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi.  After two years of service as  Athletic Director at NCS,  Coach Fontenot became the Board of Director's enthusiastic choice in 2001 for promotion to secondary principal.  Mr. Fontenot and his wife, Jan, parent three young NCS students: Ellen, Claire and Adele.  The Fontenot family attends church at Northlake Assembly of God in Covington.

Courtney Haindel came to Northlake Christian in 2004. Prior to moving to the Northshore, she taught for four years in Baton Rouge as an English and Resource teacher to students with learning disabilities, specifically dyslexia. Courtney taught two years of Secondary English at Northlake and has served as the Secondary Assistant Principal since October of 2006.. She holds her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Louisiana State University and her Masters of Education in Educational Administration & Supervision from Southeastern Louisiana University. Courtney is married to Ben Haindel, a graduate of Northlake who also serves as the Social Studies Department Chair and Director of Camp Northlake. Ben and Courtney have three children, Mary Evelyn Molly Mae and Campbell, all who have attended NCS since preschool.  The Haindels attend First Baptist Church of Covington.

Mark Robert came to NCS in 2002 to start the current football program and serve as Dean of Students.  Mr. Robert started teaching and coaching in 1980.  He has served as the Disciplinarian at Holy Cross in New Orleans and Mountain Heritage High School outside of Asheville, North Carolina.  Mark and his wife Deanna founded the Crossroads Youth Foundation to assist “at risk” teenagers and have spent the past 28 years involved in ministry to students.  He received his undergraduate degree from Evangel University and is currently working towards his master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Northwestern Louisiana University.  Mark and Deanna have one child, Benjamin, who is a graduate of NCS and is currently working on a degree in Electrical Engineering at UNO.

Mr. Anthony Agresta joined NCS as the Athletic Director in 2007.   He moved here from Cleveland Ohio, where he previously served as the Principal of Youngstown Christian School.  Previous experience includes serving as Principal  &  Founder of Father's Heart School in Ohio;  Teacher/ Coach of Football, Baseball and Basketball in private and public schools in Ohio.  He has served as a Missionary with "Youth with a Mission" overseas and in the states.    Mr. Agresta graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea,   He and his wife Lorrie have four children:  Aaron, Celeste, Micah and Sarah.

Secondary School Counselor

Jenni Vega arrived on the campus of NCS in 2002 with a desire to minister to young people however she could.  After eight years as a classroom teacher and six years as the English Department Head, Mrs. Vega is presently working as the Secondary School Counselor assisting the students of NCS with academic, college/career, and personal counseling.  Mrs. Vega holds her undergraduate degree in English from Southeastern Louisiana University and is currently completing her Master's degree in Education with a specialization in school counseling from Liberty University.  Mrs. Vega and her husband, Reginald, have three children, Dominick, Abigail, and Andrea, who all have attended NCS since preschool.  The Vegas are active members of New Beginnings Church in Covington.

Mrs. Myra Catledge started working for NCS in 1985 as the receptionist for grades K-12.   In 1992,  she moved to the position as Secondary Secretary & Assistant to the Headmaster.  Since 1996, she has served as Secondary Administrative Assistant serving grades 7th - 12th.  Miss Myra has five children and 13 grandchildren.  Four of her children (Leland, Jennifer, Larry Paul and Jessica Catledge) were registered the first day of school in 1978.  They have a fifth child (Julie) who was in college at the time her siblings enrolled at NCS.   Miss Myra graduated from Meadow Draghon Business School in New Orleans in 1960 with a Stenographic degree.   She is married to her wonderful, dear husband,   Larry.   "The Lord has blessed greatly!"
