ATTENTION HONK CAST MEMBERS – GRADES 1-3
Dear Parents of first-third grade students,
Attached is the list of DUCKLINGS AND FROGLETS for our performance of HONK, JR! Rehearsals are now beginning for you, the supporting cast of HONK! I have been rehearsing with the main characters to this point and we are ready for all of you to join us to make our “scenes” complete.
You may check the HONK Rehearsal schedule weekly for your days of rehearsal. You will find the schedule under ELEMENTARY on the NCS home page. You should also be receiving an e-mail of the schedule every Sunday.
The performance dates of the play are March 1, 2, and 3 at 7:00 p.m., with a 1:00 matinee on March 3 and is being performed at the Greater Covington Center. Your child will be asked to perform in 2 of the 4 performances, the dates of which I will let you know. Please let me know if there is any date that your child cannot perform.
We will be taking care of your child’s costume; either ordering it or having it sewn. There will be a $30 COSTUME FEE. Please send this to my attention, with checks made payable to NCS.

FROGLETS AND DUCKLINGS IN GRADES 1-3 --- I WILL BE POSTING THE DAYS THAT YOUR CHILD WILL BE PERFORMING.
HERE WE GO....! THE DAY THAT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR - OPENING NIGHT ON MARCH 1!! I PRAY THAT ALL OF OUR ACTORS ARE GETTING EXCITED TO TAKE THE STAGE AND PERFORM THEIR LITTLE HEARTS OUT - ALL TO THE GLORY OF GOD!
WE WILL BE REHEARSING AT THE GREATER COVINGTON CENTER - 317 N. JEFFERSON STREET - THIS WEEK ON MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, WITH WEDNESDAY BEING OUR LAST DAY BEFORE OPENING NIGHT ON THURSDAY. THIS WILL GIVE THE KIDS AN OPPORTUNITY TO REHEARSE ON THE STAGE BEFORE THEIR PERFORMANCES.
PLEASE CHECK THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE TO SEE WHEN YOUR CHILD WILL NEED TO BE AT THE THEATER FOR REHEARSAL, AS WELL AS THE NIGHTS OF THE PERFORMANCES.
PLEASE JOIN ME IN PRAYER NOW AS WE LOOK FORWARD TO OPENING NIGHT ON 3/1 - GOOD RECALL, GREAT EXCITEMENT AND A SPIRIT OF COOPERATION FOR THE ENTIRE CAST AND CREW!
THANKS SO MUCH TO THE ENTIRE CAST AND MOMS AND DADS WHO HAVE BEEN SO FAITHFUL IN THEIR COMMITMENT TO REHEARSALS, KNOWING THAT AS WE "TAKE THE STAGE," GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED AS OUR TALENTED ACTORS AND ACTRESSES POUR OUT THEIR GIFTS TO HIM AND FOR HIM.
THIS IS A LITLE REMINDER THAT THERE IS A $30 COSTUME FEE FOR THE CAST MEMBERS. WE ARE TAKING CARE OF THE MAJORITY OF THE COSTUMES, BY EITHER ORDERING THEM, SEWING THEM OR RENTING THEM. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO NCS, TO MY ATTENTION AND TURN IT IN TO EITHER THE ELEMENTARY OR SECONDARY OFFICE. THANK YOU TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE ALREADY TURNED IN THEIR COSTUME FEE.

PLEASE NOTE: YOUR CHILD'S COSTUME WILL BE AT THE THEATER FOR HIM/HER EACH NIGHT. PLEASE MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOUR CHILD DOES NOT LEAVE THE THEATER WITH HIS/HER COSTUME. THE ACTORS ARE TO GET DRESSED AT THE THEATER WHEN THEY ARRIVE AND LEAVE THEIR COSTUMES BACKSTAGE FOR THEIR NEXT PERFORMANCE.
ALL 1-3 FROGLETS AND DUCKLNGS ARE TO WEAR THEIR SCHOOL SHOES - PREFERABLY WHITE TENNIS SHOES.
ALL GEESE SQUADRON ARE TO WEAR SOME TYPE OF BOOT - EITHER BLACK OR BROWN ARE FINE.

***Please know that I will do my very best to "stick" to these rehearsal times at the theater. I will be working with the light and sound crew as we rehearse, which may slow down some of the rehearsals. But, I am asking God to cause these rehearsals to go forward smoothly, with few delays. I trust He goes before us!

***I will be posting the casts for each night of performances. The show begins at 7:00 on March 1-3, with a 1:00 matinee on March. The cast will need to be at the theater for costume and make-up 2 hours before each performance - that is - at 5:00 for the evening performances and at 11:00 for the 1:00 performance.
If any of you are available to help in any way - sewing, painting, etc. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
