Thank you Northlake for being such an awesome place to send our kids to school. Our family came to NCS just before Hurricane Katrina. At the time I had a Preschool-4 child and a 3rd grader. We almost moved away when the storm hit, but one of the motivating factors for remaining in Louisiana was your great school. No other school that we have attended measures up to the loving, nurturing environment that is provided to our kids. We truly feel "at home" here. Halle's preschool teachers (Erin Brunner and Robin Grace) were OUTSTANDING. She entered Kindergarten fully prepared and is now about to be an NCS first grader. When we relocated to Louisiana in 2004 with a 2 year old and a baby on the way, the question of child care was the most important and frankly the most daunting one we faced. After much frustration during our search, God smiled on us and led us to NCS. Our children have been loved beyond measure and all aspects of their lives have been enriched: the physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual. They have thrived and are incredible children which we attribute to the this special place we call NCS. If only every parent struggling with the decision of child care could be led to NCS. We have had three girls go through the Daycare/Preschool program at NCS....two of whom have been here since they were right at 6 weeks old. We can say unequivocally that we can't think of anyone else we would rather take care of our children - after our family - that the NCS Daycare and Preschool teachers. They have loved on our babies, taught them about Jesus, changed countless diapers and fed probably a million Cheerios. They have taught songs, sign language, Spanish words, and just in general given our girls the kind of foundation we could only dream of. Our youngest has a couple more years at Northlake Preschool and it will be a sad day when we don't have any more to drop off there! -- The Haindels
