“Campus Blessing”

Each year Northlake Christian School invites area pastors to come to the campus the day before school starts for a special Campus Blessing.  The staff is divided into groups with their respective principals and paired with pastors to go to each classroom and pray with that teacher and for the children coming into the class that year.  It is a very special time as each class and teacher and staff member is dedicated to the Lord.

“Hee Haw Day”

The last Friday of October we celebrate a special time of outside fun and games for the children.  We need volunteers to help set the playgrounds up, find hay bales, a truck and trailer for the hay rides, gather cornstalks and other decorations, and help man the different stations.  It’s a fun time for all!

“Thanksgiving Feasts”

Every Thanksgiving the preschool children celebrate Thanksgiving with the Thanksgiving story during the week, with parents coming on Wednesday with Thanksgiving Dinner and eating with the children in their classroom.  Most are dressed as Pilgrims and Indians, and a great time of thanking God for His many blessings is a highlight of the meal.  Help is needed with the food for the feast.
