A Letter From the Director of Technology:

Mike Adams

Dear NCS community,

Welcome – and welcome back – to all of our students, faculty and staff members. As we prepare to launch the 2017-2018 School Year, I’d like to tell you about a few important technology-related resources and services that are available to you. Many of these resources are being developed or improved, so even if this isn’t your first year at NCS I suggest reading on.

Here are the four key areas and I encourage you to bookmark these websites. They are valuable sources of information and support covering a wide range of subject areas. – Our mobile site was created for everyday links that students and teachers need quick access to. This site makes finding information on your mobile device much easier. – Our searchable knowledge base makes it easy for teachers to find answers to common questions. – Your resource for all Information Technology Solutions. Students, Faculty, and Parents can submit help tickets and chat live with our Technology Help Desk. – This is the LMS or Learning Management System that students will use. Developed specifically for K-12 classrooms, itslearning incorporates streamlined curriculum management functionality, and focuses on proven pedagogical strategies that drive student-centered learning.

Information Technology Solutions is here and happy to help with your technology-related needs. We have a dynamic and growing service catalog available to the school, and we encourage you to contact us to learn more about how we can help meet your IT needs.

Our Student Technology Course is in it’s second year and we are excited to add some programming options to the options that our students will have. Students will be engaged in day to day operations while preparing for and earning the CompTIA A+ Certification.

If you need help or need to help your student with an iPad issue, head over to and open up a Help Desk ticket. This will email both ITS and select teachers that can help.

Please be sure to read and submit the iPad Acceptable Use Policy, and you can find those on our web site.

Thank you and best of luck this academic year,

Mike Adams
