"Search and Teach" (ST1)
Identifying and Addressing Learning Needs in Grades K-1
Search & Teach is an early intervention program developed to identify and meet the needs of young students before they experience failure in the classroom. Search is a screening process designed to identify kindergartners and first graders who are vulnerable to learning difficulties. It also provides parents and teachers with a profile of individual strengths and weaknesses in the skills necessary for reading success. Teach is a program of learning activities carefully designed to address the specific needs revealed by the Search screening. Teach involves one-on-one instruction with a qualified instructor outside of the regular classroom.
SEARCH & TEACH FEES:
Search Screening $50 (Included in tuition for NCS Kindergartners)
Teach: $22.50 per 1/2 hour session (minimum of three sessions a week required)
