This is Mallory Cox’s first year coaching Middle School Track and Field at Northlake Christian School. Mallory was a member of Cedar Creek’s track and field and cross country teams in Ruston, Louisiana. She placed in the top ten at state, held the title of captain her junior and senior year, and was honored to be a part of the cross country team as they won their fifth, sixth, and seventh consecutive state championships. After high school, Mallory pursued her running career by running longer distances. She has competed in numerous half marathons, both nationally and internationally, along with 3 full marathons. Her last marathon was in March 2015, where she placed first in her division and was 10th overall in women. Above all, Mallory is able to combine her passion for running and teaching as she coaches and mentors young athletes on the track. Mallory holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mathematics, a Minor in Kinesiology, and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching (grades 6-12).
