Congratulations to all of the NCS Senior basketball players. All of the seniors were recognized during their final home game. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. NCS has been blessed to have such a great group of young men and women representing our school family!



Congratulations to Matt Wheelan! Matt recently became the newest member of the NCS Basketball 1000 point club. What a fantastic accomplishment for a wonderful young man.  Fellow alumni club members were present to present Matt with the award on Senior Night.

Meet the Coach

Matt McCune, Head Basketball Coach
Matt is from Baton Rouge, where he attended Episcopal High School.  He graduated from LSU in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and a minor in History.  Matt has 13 years of coaching experience at many different levels of basketball and football. He will teach middle school math and serve as Head Coach of the Varsity Boy’s Basketball Program. Matt and his wife, Jessica, are new residents of Covington with their two dogs Buddy and Annie.









Anthony Agresta, Assistant Basketball Coach
Mr. Anthony Agresta joined NCS as the Athletic Director in 2007. He moved here from northeast Ohio, where he previously served as the Principal of Youngstown Christian School. Previous experience includes serving as Principal & Founder of Father’s Heart School in Ohio; A Teacher, Coach of Football, Baseball and Basketball in private and public schools in Ohio. He has served as a Missionary with “Youth with a Mission” overseas and in the states. Mr. Agresta graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea. He and his wife Lorrie have four children: Aaron, Celeste, Micah, and Sarah.
Along with his duties as Athletic Director, Agresta serves as the head football coach since 2009.
