For tax years beginning in 2011 - Louisiana now allows a 100% tax deduction for private school tuition and eligible expense deductions capped at $5,000 per child versus the 50% tax deduction in prior years. The Revenue Information Bulletin is included below for your reference. It gives some good examples to explain the calculation when you have more than one child.
