Glenn Martin, Head of School

Glenn Martin is in his first year as the Head of School at Northlake Christian and comes to us from The Kings Academy in West Palm Beach. As Director of Development at TKA, Mr. Martin oversaw Admissions, Marketing, Public Relations and Fundraising. Mr. Martin holds a B.A. in English/Speech Performance from Kentucky Wesleyan College and an M.A. in Writing and Linguistics from Northwestern State University. He has served in many capacities at TKA, including Advanced Placement English teacher and Assistant Principal, as well as coaching football, soccer, golf and directing plays. In addition, Mr. Martin was the Executive Director of the Heath Evans Foundation from 2008-2012, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering hope and healing to childhood victims of sexual abuse through professional biblical counseling. He and his wife, Sue, have two children in the Upper School at Northlake Christian - Abby and Zach. Their oldest daughter, Carissa, is in her second year at Emory University.





Matthew Metcalf, Director of Business & Finance

Matthew Metcalf comes to NCS from Haddox, Reid, Eubank, Betts, PLLC in Jackson, MS where he served as a tax and audit manager, preparing tax returns and leading audits for a variety of clients, including several private schools. Mr. Metcalf has also served as corporate accounting manager for Logan's Roadhouse in Nashville, TN and previously worked at Asurion and KPMG. He is a CPA and holds Bachelor of Accountancy and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Mississippi. Mr. Metcalf is looking forward to being a part of the NCS community and serving alongside the administrators, faculty, staff, students, and families. He and his wife, Rachel, have 3 children.






Jenni Vega, Upper School Principal (9-12)

Jenni Vega arrived on the campus of NCS in 2002 with a desire to minister to young people however she could.  After eight years as a classroom teacher, six years as the English Department Head, six years as the Secondary School Counselor, one year as Secondary Assistant Principal, two years as Middle School Principal, Mrs. Vega is presently working as the Upper School Principal. Mrs. Vega holds her undergraduate degree in English from Southeastern Louisiana University and  her Master’s degree in education with a specialization in school counseling from Liberty University. Mrs. Vega and her husband, Reginald, have three children, Dominick, Abigail, and Andrea, who all have attended NCS since preschool. The Vegas are members of First Baptist Church Covington.



Ben Haindel, Lower and Middle School Principal (K-8)

Mr. Haindel is a 1993 graduate of Northlake Christian and served at NCS from 1997-2014 in various capacities - High School Bible teacher, History Department Chair, Camp Northlake Director, Leadership Council Director, School Improvement Committee Chair, Alumni Director and first NCS Level 5 Teacher. He served as the High School Principal at Parkview Baptist School in Baton Rouge from 2014-2017 and is happy to be "home" at NCS. Mr. Haindel holds his B.A. in Social Studies Education from Louisiana College and his M.Ed. in Secondary Principalship from Southeastern Louisiana University. He is a 2013 graduate of Leadership St. Tammany. He and his wife Courtney have three children who have attended NCS since Preschool - Mary Evelyn (2019), Molly Mae (2024) and Campbell (2029).





Susan Hickey, Early Learning Center Director

Ms. Hickey has come to Northlake Christian School after spending eight years at Calvary Baptist School in Slidell. During her time at CBS, she served as a teacher for three years and a principal for five. Ms. Hickey has an associate's degree in early childhood education from Nunez Community College, a bachelor's degree in social science from Upper Iowa University, and a master's degree in special education from Grand Canyon University.

Susan lives in Slidell and has five children. Daniel is an NCS Alum and Katelyne is a senior at NCS. The Hickey family attends Calvary Baptist Church in Slidell where Susan leads the children's ministry department.




Madeleine Mula Lewis '05, Director of Marketing and Enrollment

Madeleine Lewis attended Northlake Christian School  for 13 years and is a member of the graduating class of 2005.  She began serving NCS in 2017 as the Alumni Director and moved on to become the Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations shortly after that.  Mrs Lewis holds her B.A. in Biology/Pre Medicine from Samford University in Birmingham, Al. Her love for Admissions and Marketing began at her time there where she worked closely with the Dean of Admissions.  She and her husband Griffin are active members of Church of the King in Mandeville, La and have 3 children who all attend Northlake- Liam (2031), Hudson Ann (2032), and Quinn (2034).






Joan Mondor, Discovery Center Director

Joan Mondor joined the faculty of NCS as a classroom teacher in 1986. After one year in sixth grade and fourteen years in kindergarten, she left the classroom to pilot academic support services through the Discovery Center in 2001.
Joan trained as an educational therapist through the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) and holds their professional certification. She earned her undergraduate degree with a double major in Bible and elementary education from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, AL. She holds a Master’s of Education, with a specialization in reading, from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, AL. 
Joan and her husband, Gary, are members of Mandeville Bible Church. Their three children graduated from NCS.






Monty Fontenot, Director of Operations

Mr. Fontenot has been at Northlake since 1999 where he served for fourteen years as the Secondary Principal and four years as Head of School. Mr. Fontenot began his teaching career in 1989 at St. Paul's School in Covington, where he graduated from in 1984. He taught mathematics and was the head basketball coach and assistant baseball coach. Mr. Fontenot holds his undergraduate degree in mathematics from Belhaven College and his masters in educational administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mr. Fontenot is a 2008 Fellow of the School Leadership Center of Greater New Orleans. Mr. Fontenot and his wife of 28 years, Jan, are parents of three NCS alums: Ellen (2014), Adele (2016), and Claire (2017).  The Fontenot family attends church at First Baptist Covington.






Mike Adams, Director of Technology

Mike Adams came to NCS in 2013, and has taken the position of Director of Technology. Mike has over 24 years of Management Information Systems experience in law firms, and a background in Business Process Management. He has focused his Information Technology career on process improvement utilizing tools of technology to make organizations more efficient. He is a speaker at American Lawyer Media's LegaTech events around the United States, and was a member of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA). Mr. Adams has an A.S. in Legal Studies and a B.A.S. in Technology Management. He also holds certification from Microsoft and NEC.






Tony Agresta, Athletic Director

Mr. Anthony Agresta joined NCS as the Athletic Director in 2007. He moved here from northeast Ohio, where he previously served as the Principal of Youngstown Christian School. Previous experience includes serving as Principal & Founder of Father’s Heart School in Ohio; A Teacher, Coach of Football, Baseball and Basketball in private and public schools in Ohio. He has served as a missionary with “Youth with a Mission” overseas and in the states. Mr. Agresta graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea. He and his wife Lorrie have four children: Aaron, Celeste, Micah (NCS Graduate 2011), and Sarah (NCS Graduate 2015). Along with his duties as Athletic Director, Agresta has served as the head football coach since 2009.
