NCS Boys Basketball
The NCS Basketball program is part of the LHSAA Conference (Louisiana High School Athletic Association) District 9-2A.
The program is open to:
- Varsity (9th - 12th Grade)
- Junior Varsity (9th - 11th Grade)
- Junior High (7th - 8th Grade)
- Elementary (5th - 6th Grade)
Try-Outs: Try-outs for various teams are held in October.
Season: The season runs from the beginning of October through March.
Practices: Practices take place during the week. Individual team schedules will be listed (when available) under the "Team Schedule" link.
Games: Games are generally held on Tuesdays and Fridays. Tournament days vary.
Eligibility: NCS students who have a 2.0 grade point average (or better) can try out and belong to the team.

Tryouts for our JR. High and Elementary teams were held over the weekend. It was a great turnout and very tough decisions on picking the teams. I would like to thank everyone who attended and congratulate our team members. For the Junior High:
